Our teachers:
Our English speaking teachers all have extensive experience teaching at Grade 12 in South Africa. They have solid credentials and track records in the subjects they offer, and are carefully vetted on their presentation skills and their ability to explain solutions to problems in a relaxed and easily-understood way. Teachers' CV's are independently scrutinized and verified to ensure they bring only the highest teaching skills and capabilities to what they offer.
Mathematics Teacher:
Cheryl Stevens Gammon
Cheryl has a BSc (UCT) and HDE PG(SEC) (UCT) - she has been teaching high school Mathematics since 1979. Cheryl was most recently the Deputy Principal and Head of Mathematics at Cedar House in Cape Town. She has also taught at Pinelands and Queens Park High schools and tutored at Herschel Girls' school.
Cheryl has an extensive knowledge of both the old and the new South African curriculum. She has also taught Mathematics in Ontario, Canada and tutored private mathematics for 6 years.
